We are very glad to announce to the friends of Olympia Festival and Camera Zizanio some great news.

On Tuesday February 6, 2018, the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras expressed the official support of the Greek state to Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People. In his speech at the Conference for the Development of Western Greece he described the Festival as an institution that “has an impressive success and international recognition” and announced the financing of a new permanent home for all festival activities with 8 million euros from the state budget. This is the full text of the speech of Nikos Theodosiou,artistic director of Camera Zizanio,  at the roundtable discussion on the topic “Kids, youth and Media Literacy” held in Valencia on   January 19, 2013  in the context  of the first  “Mostra International de Cinema Educatiu” .
