With a broad smile on their lips and with the contentment of a successful accomplishment of the first phase of their ‘mission’, the six youngsters along with their escort returned from Dortmund on Sunday (18/10).

They are the youngsters who participated at the joint Greek – German action “The world is changing. What about us?’, that was organized by two organizations with significant actions and activities concerning young people’s audiovisual communication and expression,  YOUNG DOGS from Germany and NEANIKO PLANO (organizes Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People and Camera Zizanio) from Greece.

The eight days in Germany were very productive. Youngsters from Greece cooperated creatively with six youngsters from Germany. They discussed their ideas, got familiar with the film equipment, were divided into three groups and created 3 short documentaries.

We’ll have the chance to watch those films as the premier will take place during the 18th Olympia Film Festival and the 15th Camera Zizanio.

Moreover, the second phase of this action will be held during the days of the Festival (28 November to December 5, 2015).Youngsters from Germany will be hosted in Greece, and will continue their cooperation by producing new films here.

And so, youngsters armed with the most direct and interventionist film genre, documentary, get to know the world, recognize similarities and differences and also detect the perspectives and possibilities for the future.
