Camera Zizanio

Within the wide range of educational activities of Youth Plan (Olympia Film Festival – Camera Zizanio) , animation workshops were included, where the young students not only learn animation techniques but also create their own films are included.

Kostas Katrakis, a prime colleague of Youth Plan, run two animation workshops (among others) at schools in Athens. And the result was more than excellent.

The film was created by the students of the 3rd Tositseio Primary school of Ekali and was awarded at the 3rd National Student competition of short Films in Serres, co- organized by ERT (National Radio-television), Administration of Primary Education of Serres, Short Film Festival in Drama and Educational Radio Television.

The title of the film is “I’m a little frog, Emmanouel A. Bakakoulis” and was based on the book by M. Kriezi. The workshop took place from February 12-14, 2013 with the participation of 40 children.

This film will be screened at the Short Film Festival in Drama.

The main subject of the two films that were created by the students of the 2nd Elementary School of Vrilissia, is school violence. The first one is “A strange story” and the second one is “Bullying; Ouououou!!”

Two workshops (April 22 and 24, 2013) were organized in Vrilissia and lasted for two days with the participation of 18 children in each one.

Αll three films will participate in the 13th edition of Camera Zizanio, this December in Pyrgos.
