We are very glad to announce to the friends of Olympia Festival and Camera Zizanio some great news.
On Tuesday February 6, 2018, the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras expressed the official support of the Greek state to Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People. In his speech at the Conference for the Development of Western Greece he described the Festival as an institution that “has an impressive success and international recognition” and announced the financing of a new permanent home for all festival activities with 8 million euros from the state budget. But Camera Zizanio is not only screening of films. It’s week of full film creativity through the tens of cinema workshops. It’s also about 300 (and more) youngsters who cooperate, write screenplays and create films.
