Camera Zizanio

This year Camera Zizanio and Athens Digital Film Festival co-operate successfully for the second time. That is to say, a selection of films, which were awarded in 11th Camera Zizanio last December in Pyrgos Ilia, will be screened during 2nd Athens Digital Film Festival, which will be held in Athens on 25 May-3 June 2012.

This selection includes 4 movies from the Greek section of Camera Zizanio and 5 from the European one with total duration 75 minutes.

In addition to these, films created during The Mythos Project will be screened as well.

The Mythos Project was first launched in December 2011 as one of the workshops held during 11th Camera Zizanio, aiming to urge young people from different countries to express their thoughts regarding financial crisis through 1-3 minute short films. “How about living your myth in Greece today?” is what we asked the participants in the project to find out and give their own answers, after being separated in groups.

The final outcome of the project was 6 short films, which will be shown to Athenian audience and were made by participants from Greece, Spain, The Netherlands, Lithuania and Russia.
