Mania Roumpani, a student at the National Technical University of Athens from this year, will be the main hostess of the 8^th Camera Zizanio (November 28 – December 6), in Pyrgos, the Prefecture of Ilia.

Touring Greece with Mania

Young Mania (Gesthimani) from Pyrgos (Ilia Prefecture), grew up along with the Olympia Film Festival for Children and Young People and the Camera Zizanio. She was one of the first to  register for participation  for the cinema workshops.

She started making her own films and with these films she traveled to cinema workshops and Festivals abroad  along with the Camera Zizanio’s delegation.

From the contacts that she made during her trips, and an unexpected invitation came… An invitation to be the hostess of three 25-minute documentaries about Greek islands, produced by the S. Korea Living TV.

The shooting of those three documentaries took place in the middle of October in Athens, Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos. The Director of this project was Mr. Wantgae Lim, a friend of Camera Zizanio, professor at the Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts in the city of Anseong, near Seoul. The documentaries will be screened in Korea, this January.
