72 films from 34 European countries participate in the European Competition Section of the 24th Camera Zizanio that will take place along with the 27th Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People, November 30- December 7, 2024 in Pyrgos, Greece.

Camera Zizanio will be once again the meeting place for youth creativity and expression, bringing together a vibrant mix of young talents and cultures, as more than 80 young filmmakers (& their educators) from 18 European countries will travel to Pyrgos not only to present their films but also to participate in the 14th edition of our multinational film workshop “Mythos Project”!

Η Camera Zizanio έρχεται και είναι έτοιμη να στρέψει για άλλη μια φορά τα βλέμματα πάνω στην Νεανική Οπτικοακουστική Δημιουργία!

Με μεγάλη χαρά ανακοινώνουμε όλες τις ταινίες που θα συμμετέχουν από 30 Νοεμβρίου ως 7 Δεκεμβρίου στην 24η Camera Zizanio.

Μια αλλαγή συντελείται από φέτος στα διαγωνιστικά τμήματα του ελληνικού προγράμματος. Καθώς ο όγκος ταινιών που λαμβάνουμε μεγαλώνει και μαζί αυξάνονται τα εργαλεία προβολής και διάθεσης των νεαρών δημιουργών, πλέον θα υπάρχει επιλογή των ταινίων του ελληνικού προγράμματος, ώστε οι ταινίες που θα συμμετέχουν να προβάλλονται με καλύτερους όρους και να ενδυναμώνεται ακόμα περισσότερο η φωνή των νέων, η προβολή της δουλειάς τους και η ματιά τους πάνω στα ζητήματα που τους απασχολούν.

Κάθε μέρα στο Συνεδριακό Κέντρο της Περιφέρειας Δυτικής Ελλάδας σάς περιμένει μια μοναδική κινηματογραφική εμπειρία! Το διαγωνιστικό πρόγραμμα της Camera Zizanio φέρνει φρέσκες, τολμηρές ταινίες από όλο τον κόσμο — δημιουργημένες από νέες και νέους με ιστορίες να πουν, ιδέες να μοιραστούν και οπτικές που θα σας αγγίξουν και θα σας ψυχαγωγήσουν. Εδώ, τον λόγο έχουν τα νέα άτομα και τα παιδιά και σας προσκαλούν να δείτε τον κόσμο μέσα από τα δικά τους μάτια και τις ταινίες τους.

Αυτή η καθημερινή γιορτή νεανικής δημιουργίας ενώνει νέους σκηνοθέτες από όλη την Ευρώπη και ακόμα πιο πέρα, προσφέροντας σπάνιες εικόνες από διαφορετικές κουλτούρες και ζωές. Κάθε προβολή συνοδεύεται από παρουσιάσεις των σκηνοθετών/τριών και ζωηρές συζητήσεις με το κοινό — μια ευκαιρία να εμπνευστείτε, να κάνετε ερωτήσεις και να συνδεθείτε.

Οι ειδικές μας προβολές:

• Δευτέρα, 2 Δεκεμβρίου: Ανακαλύψτε τις ελληνικές ταινίες που διαγωνίζονται στο ευρωπαϊκό τμήμα!
• Τρίτη, 3 Δεκεμβρίου, στις 9:00 π.μ.: Ελάτε στην ειδική προβολή με ταινίες νέων δημιουργών για τα Νηπιαγωγεία!

Όλες οι προβολές γίνονται στα αγγλικά, παρουσία των σκηνοθετών και των σκηνοθετριών. Μην χάσετε αυτή την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσετε τον κινηματογράφο μέσα από φρέσκες φωνές και να γνωρίσετε νέες και νέους δημιουργούς από όλο τον κόσμο!

Η 24^η Camera Zizanio θα πραγματοποιηθεί από  τις 30 Νοεμβρίου ως τις 7 Δεκεμβρίου 2024 στον Πύργο Ηλείας παράλληλα με το 27^o Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Ολυμπίας για Παιδιά και Νέους.

Στην Camera Zizanio γίνονται δεκτές ταινίες μυθοπλασίας, ντοκιμαντέρ, ανιμέσιον ή πειραματικές που έχουν δημιουργηθεί από παιδιά και νέους έως 20 ετών.
Όσοι δημιουργοί επιλεγούν για τα διαγωνιστικά τμήματα θα έχουν τη μοναδική ευκαιρία να προσκληθούν στο Φεστιβάλ και να πάρουν μέρος στη μεγάλη γιορτή μαζί με πολλούς νέους από την Ευρώπη και τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο.
Θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουν τις προβολές των επαγγελματικών ταινιών του Φεστιβάλ Ολυμπίας, να συναντήσουν σημαντικούς Έλληνες και ξένους δημιουργούς του κινηματογράφου, να συμμετάσχουν σε κινηματογραφικά εργαστήρια και σεμινάρια, μουσικές εκδηλώσεις, χορούς και άλλες εκδηλώσεις.
Αιτήσεις συμμετοχής γίνονται δεκτές μέχρι τις 8 Οκτωβρίου 2024.

Anxiety > First Primary School in Srebrenik / Bosnia Herzegovina

For the honesty and sensitivity with which the often turbulent inner world of children is depicted, through experiential narration that facilitates empathy and acceptance of proposals for addressing psychological difficulties.

1st Award

Tent Sculpture Memorial > Α.Ε.Ι Αudiovisual Forum, Lyceum of Livadion / Cyprus

For the emotion and respect with which the personal experience of the displacement of residents from a small village in Cyprus during the Turkish invasion is presented, highlighting the human side of history and contributing to the preservation of historical memory.

2nd Award

Game Over > Sanador Films, IES Rodanas/ Spain

For the dramatic depiction of the dangers of addiction to digital games, thanks to the ingenuity of direction, sound design, and visual effects.

Letterbox Enigma > Veluws College Walterbosch Apeldoorn (NFFS) / The Netherlands

For highlighting the youth’s need for communication and their fears of social isolation through distinct aesthetic and narrative choices.

3rd Award 

Dream > Lazar Jovanović / Serbia

For the opportunity the film provides us to realize that when reality doesn’t allow it, dreams, like cinema, give us the chance to share experiences and fulfill our desires.

1st Award

Deer> Kolkjjaer Hansen (Station next) / Denmark

For the moving and creatively inspired directorial approach through which the film addresses childhood traumas, abusive stereotypes, and the right of everyone to the sensitivity that heals and humanizes us.

2nd Award

An odd friendship > Alexandros Verroios / Greece 

For the courage with which it addresses and represents adolescent contemplations on death and life, thanks to a wealth of philosophical, literary, and cinematic references.

Rena > Alexandros Damianidis, John Akrivopoulos / Greece 

For the cry it sends against violence, combining poetic language, powerful images, expressive performances, and emotionally and psychologically fitting spaces and sounds.

3rd Award 

Call me sir > Esma Elif Ergul, Roos Van Gessek (IVKO Amsterdam-NFFS)  / The Netherlands

For the bold manner in which it calls for awareness against social discrimination and demonstrates that cinematic creation can be a journey of self-discovery.
