From Paxos Island to Vienna

Another distinction is added to the long list of successes of our film workshops. The most recent one comes from Vienna.

The film “Emergency”, created from students of Paxos high school in the frames of a film workshop, excelled in Media Literacy Awards, Austria. Camera Zizanio submitted the film.

Media Literacy Awards is an annual event of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Arts in Austria, which awards audiovisual works of students from Austria and European countries.

This year, as we were informed, 450 student creations from Europe were submitted and selection of the best ones was a very difficult task.

The screening of the winning films will take place from November 6 to 8, 2013, in Vienna and the young creators are invited to attend the Austrian capital and talk about their work.

Congratulations to the youngsters of Paxos!
