Α NEW FESTIVAL IN VALENCIA!

MICE

A new festival is taking birth during these days. It’s about the 1st Educational Film Festival MICE 2013 (Mostra Internacional de Cine Educativo) that will take place from January 18 to 19, in Valencia.

Behind this initiative is an old friend of Camera Zizanio, Josep Arbiol, school teacher by occupation, president of the non-governmental organization ‘Asociación Cultural Jordi del Mussol’.

It’s the first time that such and event takes place in Catalonia and the organizers need enough courage to embark a project like this, especially under the very difficult economic condition that we all live.

During the 2 days of the Festival, will be screened 80 films created by youngsters from 30 countries, and will also run several workshops.

An important aspect of this event is a round table with the subject “Kids, Youth and media literacy”. Among the speakers will be the Artistic director of Camera Zizanio, Nikos Theodosiou.
