Camera Zizanio

We are two, we are three, we are one thousand and thirteen!

We would like to inform all our friends that the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People and Camera Zizanio was just won a major battle.

Late last night, on Tuesday (10 December), the Regional Council of Western Greece  approved the economic support of the Festival by majority.

This victory is mainly due to the huge movement of solidarity that was in Greece and abroad.

Hundreds of messages of support came from schools, cultural organizations, distinguished artists and ordinary citizens.

But most of all this victory is due to the children that gathered and declared that they’re not going to let this festival to be lost.

Three days ago, on Saturday 8 of December, during the Closing / Award Ceremony a representative from the Ministry of Culture promised that the Festival will institutionalize.

Now we need to put the words into action. That is why the struggle continues. Along with all the faithful friends around the world, we feel much stronger.
