Camera’s Zizanio new initiative:

Skopelos
The Skopelos International film Fetival for Youth
Skopelos is one of the most beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea. With luxuriant vegetation and wonderful beaches.
Skopelos became famous to all over the world, because of the shootings of the film “Mamma Mia” – starring Meryl Streep.
Beyond the spot lights and Hollywood’s famous stars, there’s another reality. Camera Zizanio and Youth Plan, through The Skopelos International film Festival for Youth, give to the children of the island, a unique opportunity to learn the audiovisual creation from within: through cinema workshops and screenings of quality films.
The events will last for four days in Skopelos, from 24 to 27 of July, 2009.
The artistic director of Camera Zizanio, Nikos Theodosiou will run the workshops, along with his friends / colleagues:
- Wangtae Lim, South Korea, director, Member of Cifej ( International Centre of Film for Children and Young People), professor at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA) and director of DINFAC, DIMA International Filmmaking and Acting Camp for Youth.
- Kalman Czibolya, Hungary, in charge of Workshop of Video and Art of Mako, Artistic Director of the Festival Zoom to Europe and Asia.
The Festival is sponsored by the Skopelos Municipality and realized with the support of YOUTH PLAN (OLYMPIA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE) and THE SKOPELOS FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS.
